The application cycle for the 2016-2017 Mortar Board / Der Hexenkreis Leadership Award is now OPEN:
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 14.
Looking for funding to make an impact on the Cornell community? In order to encourage leadership, research, and community service across campus, Mortar Board / Der Hexenkreis Senior Honor Society is offering the Mortar Board Leadership Award. This $1,000 award supports Cornell undergraduate students pursuing innovative projects in leadership, scholarship or service to the Cornell community. Additionally, award winners are able to draw upon the campus network and shared experiences of Mortar Board in making their initiatives a reality. Currently enrolled undergraduate students who are also enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year (i.e. current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors) are eligible to apply.
In order to apply, you will need to provide a one page summary of your group’s initiative and history, plans for the year and how the funding and Mortar Board network will best benefit your group.
This can be submitted to Matthew Baumel by email at firstname.lastname@example.org by the November 14 deadline.
