Sloane Applebaum is a senior in the College of Human Ecology studying Fiber Science and Apparel Design (FSAD) with a concentration in Management and a minor in Business. As a student in FSAD, Sloane participated in research trips to India and China, where she toured garment production facilities and studied the apparel production and retailing industries in Eastern nations. She currently serves as the Vice President of Finance for the Cornell Fashion Collective and the Director of Alumni Relations for Careers in the Fashion Industry. Sloane is also a member of the Class of 2018 Convocation Committee, and she previously served as the President of her a cappella group, The Chai Notes. Sloane works as a Campus Tour Guide and Information Specialist, allowing her to share her love for Cornell with potential students and their families. She has previously interned with The Boston Consulting Group and Chanel, and after graduation, Sloane looks forward to pursuing a career in the e-commerce and digital sector of the apparel industry.
