Miguel is a Government major triple minoring in International Relations, Inequality Studies, and Latina/o Studies. He would like to pursue his Ph.D. next year with a research focus on the intersectionality of International Human Rights Law and the Latinx community. Miguel is currently involved in the Cornell DREAM Team (an immigration advocacy group), First-Generation Student Union, the Latina/o Studies Program, the McNair Scholars Program, and a variety of other organizations that involve social justice and the advancement of marginalized communities. Miguel has also represented Cornell University as a delegate to the Latinx Ivy League Conference (2017) and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (2015), and helped planned the 2nd annual New York State Latino Leadership Summit.
